We also record technical data for visitors who reach our website through an advertisement: the click identifier the advertising service appends to the web address (gclid, gbraid or wbraid), the IP address, browser information and the timestamp. We use this solely to verify that the advertisement clicks we pay for correspond to real visitors. This data is not used to track you or to build profiles, and is not shared with advertisers.

• Processing and confirming your taxi booking
• Contacting you regarding your booking (confirmations, changes, or cancellations)
• Sending you reminders about your upcoming ride

• Detecting fraudulent advertisement clicks against our own advertising budget

The lawful basis for recording IP addresses and click data is our legitimate interest: preventing abuse of the booking form and protecting our advertising budget. You will only receive a reminder about your ride if you provided an email address and we have confirmed your ride with you by telephone.

3. Data Retention

We do not store your personal data longer than strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. After completion of your ride, the data is kept for a maximum of 12 months for administrative purposes, after which it is anonymized or deleted.

Advertisement click data (click identifier, IP address, browser information) is deleted automatically after 90 days by a daily automated cleanup task, not manually.

FastTaxi Rotterdam takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
